Alex is general manager of LJ’s & THE KAT LOUNGE.
A graduate of the University of Richmond, he gained his hospitality
experience with HYATT, working in such four star restaurants
as Melrose, Park Hyatt Washington D.C., Market Street Bar
and Grill, Hyatt Reston Virginia, and NoMI, Park Hyatt Chicago.
He is dedicated to creating a consistent guest experience
based on the simple philosophy of hospitality. He develops
his team with a passion for wine, for food, for service and
for the art of entertainment no matter if they are servers,
greeters, cooks, dishwashers or bartenders. Each team member
plays a vital and significant role in obtaining success. Without
them nothing could be achieved.
Lonnie Coble
Lonnie is a 1991 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
He believes that his food, like an actor playing off the co-stars,
only really shines when all elements of the restaurant compliment
each other. Only then can the guest totally focus on just
the food. He describes his food as simply American. “America
has become a beacon for every great chef world wide. Here
over the last few decades, with our spirit of freedom, our
very own great American chefs have developed our country’s
unique culinary style worthy to be called American.”
Lonnie, using local and regional ingredients with international
cooking techniques creates a cuisine for LJ’s &
THE KAT LOUNGE, he likes to characterize as simple yet smart
and sophisticated. |
